Our Story

 

Rooted and Risen is a small, family-run flower farm founded by Andrea Olson along with her husband Nate and their four supportive kids, right here in Corcoran Mn.

What started as a love for the beauty of fresh blooms has blossomed into something much deeper—an intentional way of life rooted in nature, family, and connection.

Our flowers are grown with care, using sustainable practices that honor the earth, while each stem is carefully  selected with a purpose to share beauty and delight.

However bringing flowers to your home is only where things begin.

The heart of our ministry is to bring joy and companionship to seniors in assisted living communities.

This mission grew from a personal place—Andrea spent years “Grandpa sitting” for her grandfather with dementia, gaining a deep appreciation for the rich lives and stories of older generations.

One day, a simple act—bringing an extra bucket of blooms to a gathering where Nate’s Grandma Gerry lived—sparked something profound. The smiles, the laughter, the stories shared… Andrea’s heart was captivated. Since then, Rooted and Risen has been committed to delivering not just flowers, but moments of connection and remembrance to seniors, one bloom at a time.

Our products

Our flower farm offers seasonal CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) subscriptions filled with an abundance of blooms that evolve throughout the season. Every stem is freshly harvested and thoughtfully chosen so you get vibrant flowers that last longer and brighten your space in a way only local blooms can.

CSA subscribers enjoy hand-tied bouquets , wrapped in brown craft paper bursting with variety, color, and fragrance—each one a celebration of what’s blooming in the field that week.
